Empowering Communities through Capacity Building

Aligned with ACDA’s mission of creating resilient and self-dependent individuals and communities, our Capacity Building programs provide practical skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.

Since 2020, we have successfully implemented Computer Training in Kumba, targeting thousands of internally displaced persons, as well as the poor and underprivileged. This program has already graduated over 500 participants, equipping them with basic and intermediate computer knowledge. Many have since integrated into the ICT sector, both at national and international levels.

In addition, ACDA launched a Tailoring and Fashion Design Workshop in Big Nganjo in May 2025. This initiative, currently training over three dozen participants—mostly women and girls—, offers valuable skills in the fashion design industry. The program has attracted trainees from surrounding villages such as Metoko Bekondo, Nganjo Titi, Mabonjii, and beyond, reflecting its wide impact and relevance.

  • Over 500 graduates in ICT since 2020.

  • Currently 35+ women and girls enrolled in tailoring and fashion design training.
