Peace & Community Recovery
ACDA has played a crucial role in restoring normalcy in parts of the Mbonge subdivision in the South West region, where most of our activities are focused. Our ongoing programs have acted as a catalyst in reviving communities that were entirely deserted during the early years of the Anglophone crisis, which displaced thousands into the bush.
One key initiative, our Back to School Program, involved volunteers going door-to-door across villages to distribute free educational materials. This encouraged many parents to allow their children to return to school, gradually restoring educational activities in these communities.
The program supports the return of social and educational stability in crisis-affected areas.
It promotes peace, community resilience, and the reintegration of displaced populations.
