Promoting Education for All and Back to School
In the North and South West regions of Cameroon, the socio-political crisis severely disrupted education, leaving thousands of children out of school. Since 2020, ACDA has been running the Back to School program, bringing hope to families and communities by supporting the resumption of learning activities.
To encourage school attendance, we developed practical strategies such as providing free educational materials (books, pens, pencils), distributing school benches, and constructing temporary classrooms. These efforts have yielded remarkable results, visible in numerous success stories, photos, and videos.
- The program has assisted over 15,000 children across 8 communities, ensuring they return to and remain in school.
- Over the past four years, 200 school benches have been provided to 3 community schools, improving learning conditions.
Projects in Perspective
Continue supporting children with free educational supplies to reduce barriers to learning.
Expand the construction of classrooms and provision of benches to accommodate more pupils in vulnerable communities.
Strengthen partnerships with schools, parents, and local leaders to sustain access to education for all.

Because giving children the chance to learn today means building a brighter future tomorrow.
Join us in this essential mission.
