In the South-West region of Cameroon, the ongoing socio-political crisis has disrupted thousands of lives, forcing children out of school and threatening their future. At ACDA-CAMEROON, we believe education is the foundation of lasting peace, resilience, and community transformation.

Why Education Matters

  • Education gives children hope, structure, and the skills to shape their future.

  • In conflict-affected communities, schools serve as safe spaces where children can regain a sense of normalcy.

  • Educated communities are better equipped to break the cycle of poverty and reduce inequalities.

Our Back-to-School Initiative
Launched in 2020, our program provides:

  • Free distribution of school materials to displaced and vulnerable children.

  • Construction of temporary classrooms to replace those destroyed during unrest.

  • Provision of benches and learning equipment to improve classroom conditions.

Impact So Far

  • Over 15,000 children supported with educational materials.

  • 200 school benches distributed in 3 community schools.

  • Growing partnerships with local leaders and parents to encourage regular attendance.

Looking Ahead
Our goal is to expand the program to reach 30,000 children by 2027, ensuring that no child in the South-West region is left behind due to conflict or poverty.

When you support ACDA-CAMEROON, you are not just giving supplies—you are giving hope, opportunity, and a future.
